Life University's LIFEforce 1000 is a group of 1,000 dynamic Chiropractors who have committed to Changing the World. The site was designed with the Wordpress theme, Avada. Custom CSS and multiple plugins were then added to tailor it further to our needs. Santa Fe College Student Life

Santa Fe College's Student Life site was converted to a Percussion CMS page in Summer 2016. It is home to very useful information and time sensitive material for all Santa Fe College students. I worked with the staff and faculty members of the department to determine the needs of the new site. IT assisted in the back end development and implemented my site design.

Mike Bellotti Music

Mike Bellotti Music is the official site of Tennessee musician, Mike Bellotti. We have worked together for over three years now. It has been a direct collaboration between the two of us from the beginning. He has provided me with the basic concepts and wants/needs and I have designed, coded, and put it all together. The site was just redesigned for his fourth album release.

JETXstream

JETXstream is a blog site created for John Tutten. The site's layout is based on the Twenty Sixteen theme by Wordpress for now. The child theme was then created, designed, and implemented to reflect his articles and content. The layout is simple with hints of color and minor design elements to create CTA items such as comments, links, and social media sharing. I will soon be creating a new theme entirely as we progress with more content. Plugins have been kept to a minimum for now.

Greg's Gambits - JavaScript

Greg's Gambits was a semester long web project for COP2822 - Internet Programming in 2013. I had used JavaScript before but this was my first real in depth experience. Some of the games/coding are very simple, some are more advanced, but they were all fun and I learned a lot. This really opened my eyes to how interactive the web can and should be.

About

I graduated from Santa Fe College in May, 2015 with an AS degree in Programming & Analysis. Although my main focus gravitated towards the front-end side of web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap, I learned quite a big of programming in C++, OOP, a little bit of Objective-C, and then the back-end using php and MySQL. Graphic design, branding, and logo design still remain a passion and priority as well and is something that I will always focus on. The web changes constantly, but good design principles still reign king.

It doesn't matter if I'm trying to design a logo, a new layout, or coding, it all starts the same way. It might be 2017, but a pencil and paper will always be my go to starting point. There might be one sketch or there might be dozens. It's that brainstorming that lays down the path of the entire project. Sometimes it takes minutes and other times it takes days, but once I get that idea, the rest is easy. From sketch to screen. It perfectly describes my design process and everything I enjoy about it.

I recently moved up to Atlanta, GA and am currently a web developer at a large medical based school. I am mainly using Wordpress and its numerous plugins for all things development.
